Becky White

Children’s author with a passion for using storytelling as a tool to support children. Her goal is to write stories to touch on as many issues children may face as possible. Awareness, inclusion and validation are all top priorities in her work.

Becky is the Author of books in the series of the Teeny Tales for Growing Minds brand. She successfully published her first book Puffed Up Pearlette in 2025.

Elana Evans

Inspired by nature and vibrant colours, Elana is passionate about creating fun and expressive work using a mixture of paint, ink and digital mediums.

Elana was the second Illustrator who worked on the Puffed Up Pearlette Teeny Tales for Growing Minds children’s book. Elana has astute attention to detail, an ability to on-the-spot creatively problem solve and a crafty sense of humour in her work.

Emily Wakefield

An abstract and mural artist, with an interior design background, painting for both residential and commercial projects. Emily loves using soft colour palettes and texture. Her work is often inspired by nature and the world around us, she particularly enjoys painting botanical scenes.

We worked with Emily on the delivery of the Let’s Get Messy 2025 Arts Interventions project in a New Forest special school. Emily’s gently assertive nature and clear artistic skill made her an excellent choice for delivering alongside young people.

Emma Watremetz

An illustrator/designer who loves creating work both digitally and with traditional materials. 

Emma was one of two Illustrators who worked on the Puffed Up Pearlette Teeny Tales for Growing Minds children’s book. She is an accomplished early-career Illustrator who went above and beyond to meet our brief, to a beautiful standard.

Maria Atamas

An illustrator, specialising in animation and editorial illustration. Maria is inspired by little moments of every day life and its poetic meanings, which she transfers through imagery and short animated films.

Maria illustrated five of the Teeny Tales for Growing Minds children’s stories with vibrant, digital artwork in 2025.

Peter Margerum

An Artist working with people of all ages and abilities to create 3D artworks using a wide range of recycled wood, plastic and metal materials, beach waste and household items. Artworks can include moving parts and sound/musical features, and are suitable for outdoor display.

We worked with Peter on the delivery of the Let’s Get Messy 2023 Arts Interventions project, in a local adolescent psychiatric unit. Peter is incredibly flexible, patient and his artwork is innovative and accessible!

Tin Holloway

A Poole based illustrator currently studying at Arts University Bournemouth. Tin loves character design, insects, and the silly, aloof and nonsensical.
